Please join us in beautiful North Vancouver, BC on July 1, 2009. Whether you are in the parade, watching from the sidelines, helping as a volunteer or just out for our Pancake Breakfast, everyone has a great time. The event begins with breakfast being served at 8:00am on Grand Boulevard Park at 14th Street with proceeds going to a local charity. The parade begins at 10:00 at 13th Street & Grand Boulevard and proceeds down 13th Street to Lonsdale, turning north on Lonsdale. This is the best viewing area as the reviewing stand is set up at 14th Street & Lonsdale. At 17th Street the parade again heads west where it will end at Mahon Park, with opportunity to view some of the entries afterwards. Volunteers are needed to ensure continued success of the Canada Day Parade. Over 75 volunteers are needed to control intersections, marshalling, setup & take down as well as in other areas.
